Hi potential Takeforums members.
Because of the massive influx of spam bots, I've decided to change the registration differently. Instead of entering the forum automatically, you instead would need to be confirmed by the admins of the forum.

You can simply put you email and username in the shoutbox, or inbox me, or send it to my email:
lavenderwingz@gmail.com

Thank you!

WWW

Thanks Lavy...are you sure you're okay with taking up that job? If you don't mind, I would like to post it up at the top for new users to see since most of them don't look in at the announcement topic. Still trying to learn ways to reduce spam members. I come here once in a while to delete spam members but some of them use gmail/hotmail/yahoo so it's harder to identity T_T

I don't mind with the job, I'm more frustrated with deleting members, and I don't want to delete ppl who are legit people, and there's no way of showing if they are or not.
And I'm sooo NOT tech savvy, so I don't even know WHERE to find ways to stop these bots. lol
oh yeah, post it some place where ppl can see this. I just put it here cuz I didn't know where else it'd be.

sorry it's a pain-in-the-neck job ><  I'm glad I'm not the only one annoyed by it though--every time I got an e-mail saying there was a new post in the forum, I was happy about it until I saw it was a bot/some ish trying to sell something. ugh.
